Best in the West Street Car/Truck Challenge

Competitors will cycle through 3 separate elements in each session.  Much like our normal run groups with a twist.  Each competitor will run the Speed Stop Plus, have a chance to complete the J-Turn, and move straight to the 1/8 Mile Sprint.  You will cycle through all these elements 3 times in each session with a total of 9 attempts at each element.  There will definitely be some strategy involved!

It starts here...  We will try to toss you out of your seat, spin you around, and throw you through the windshield when you come into the Stop Box.  With a chance to receive another 100 points it will come down to how far you can push yourself, your car, and your brakes.

That's right, A Rockford!  Don't Panic, the Good News is this is an optional event.  The bad news is you can only attempt this element as you cycle through the Speed Stop Plus and the !/8 Mile Sprint.  When your runs are over, so is your chance to earn 15 Bonus points.  More Good News would be that you only have to complete this successfully, once!  This is where some of that "Strategy" comes into play.  Do you attempt it early so you can have a few chances to get it right, or do you wait until the last minute and hope it works out???

A standing start, 1 foot roll in, 660' blast to the finish, timed lap, to show us what you got!  Having to cycle through 3 different elements will present an interesting Challenge!

This will be a grueling test of Man and Machine to determine who has The Best "Street Legal" Classic Muscle and Pro-Touring Truck in the West!  As the Inaugural event we have chosen to Limit the event to 50 competitors and only Classic Muscle and Truck classes to insure an incredible experience.  We already made plans for a Best in the West Street Car Challenge for Modern Muscle and other classes so standby for that!

This event is only for 1982 and Older Classic Muscle cars as well as 1991 or Older Pro-Touring Tracks.  Classic Muscle will include 3rd Gen Camaro's (82-92) and 3rd Gen Fox body Mustang's (79-93).  All entries Must have a Valid registration and proof of insurance.

You will be required to run the same set of tires for the 3 day event.  The RacingByrds will make determinations on damaged tires with the interest of Safety in mind!

The idea is to have Fun in a Safe environment Driving our cars/trucks FAST!  We get to hangout with some incredible people, talk a little crap, and earn Bragging Rights just for competing!
